I am an artist living in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I specialize in custom portraits that are hand drawn in your choice of either black and white pencil, or artist quality coloured pencil. I work from your photos to create a one of a kind gift for yourself or for someone you love. In addition to custom drawings, I also create my own original oil paintings and realistic pencil drawings. My biggest inspiration for my art tends to come from the world around me. I tend to see shapes and ideas in all kinds of things in the world around me, especially in nature. One of my favourite things to do is to watch the clouds and imagine the scenes that the different shapes bring to mind. I work to capture the beauty and whimsy of life with aspects of surrealism and impressionism, and a unique palette of bright colours.
